Liver Pain – Symptoms, Causes, Treatment and Diagnosis
Liver pain can be nonspecific and dull, but sometimes it can be serious. It can result in a low backache, nausea, fatigue, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Liver disease and some other liver conditions may also cause liver pain.
Liver problems
Liver problems can occur as a result of liver infections or due to drugs, alcohol, or certain foods that are ingested. Other conditions that affect the liver include hepatitis and cirrhosis of the liver. Other liver conditions are the following.
Acute Pancreatitis is an inflammation or infection of the pancreas that results in persistent liver pain and bleeding. This condition may cause loss of appetite and weight loss.
If you have acute pancreatitis, you should see your physician as soon as possible. You will need to undergo testing to determine if you have acute pancreatitis and the severity of the condition. Once diagnosed, you will be given medications to help you reduce the pain caused by your condition and to prevent the spread of the infection to other parts of your body.
Liver cancer is a relatively rare condition and can be fatal if left untreated. It is caused by a tumor that has grown in the liver and if not treated can spread to other areas of the body.
Liver cancer usually starts in one organ, then spreads to other organs in the body. The liver cancer cells are often very aggressive and can kill normal healthy cells in your liver. They usually move from the liver to other parts of your body, such as the lungs and heart.
There are several types of liver cancer, and each type has its own symptoms and treatment. If you notice any of the symptoms of liver cancer or other liver conditions, see your doctor right away to make sure you are not having a more serious problem.
Liver disorders can occur in many different stages. Some of the common stages of liver disease are hepatitis B and C. Other stages include chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis, and liver failure. Liver damage can cause damage to the liver’s ability to absorb vitamins, cause severe damage to the liver, and cause the liver to become cancerous.

Liver disease can also occur through surgery or cancer.
Sometimes cancer is the primary cause of the liver disorder. When cancer has spread from another part of the body to the liver, the symptoms can be so severe that they can last for months and even years. If the liver does not have sufficient healing capacity to recover, it may have to be removed, sometimes resulting in liver death.
Hepatitis B and C are caused when the virus or bacteria attacks the liver. They can cause severe symptoms such as jaundice, nausea, vomiting, and loss of appetite. The liver is not able to properly remove chemicals that cause the illness, which causes scarring of the liver tissue.
Cirrhotic liver disease is caused by scarring that occurs in the liver.
The liver becomes scarred because the scar tissue cannot properly absorb the fluid and nutrients that are needed to function. This type of liver problem is very common in people who have had organ transplants.
End stages of liver disease can include liver failure. This means that the body has no usable liver tissue and the liver can no longer produce enough bile.
Liver failure can cause problems for the body because the body will not be able to replace the liver tissue. Once the body’s organs stop working, it needs to start producing its own bile to make energy. Liver failure may require immediate medical attention.
