Stop Coughing – 3 Quick Health Tips
Coughing Tip 1.
Breathe through your nose all the time, this will keep your lungs and mucus from drying up, if you have a blocked nose learn how to unblock it with the Nose Clearing Exercise
Coughing Tip 2.
This quick exercise is called the Anti Coughing Exercise it is only a very small part of the Buteyko Method.
The Anti Coughing Exercise is used in the event of a coughing fit and it will do one of three things,
1. Have no effect at all
2. Loosen some mucus
3. Stop the coughing fit after a few more coughs
When you get a small gap in your Coughing Fit breathe out through your nose and as you are breathing out through your nose let your head gently fall to your knees while sitting on a dining chair, this will help empty your lungs of air. Once you have very little air left in your lungs hold your breath for 3 to 5 seconds, then start to breathe in very very slowly (slower the better) while breathing in very very slowly start to raise your head at the same rate as you are breathing in very very slowly. Now when you have finished breathing in and you are sitting very up right, relax your shoulders and breathe continuously through your nose, let your posture regulate your breathing pattern. Be aware of how you are feeling, if you are feelling anything abnormal DO NOT REPEAT the exercise you may need to do the full Buteyko Course with a Buteyko Therapist

Sit on a dining room chair

Coughing Tip 3.
Stop drinking cows milk and reduce your in take of dairy products untill your coughing is under control.
